Fine Art Oil Painting
My historical work on canvas has been an exploration of detailed figurative art, which has also included abstract elements. Throughout my artistic trajectory, I have created and adopted different styles to represent my message and ideas; style, then, became a malleable tool that could transform to serve each project within my overall artistic vision better.
Where am I today? I have seen that the “Like” has become the way people tend to “select” instead of giving a feedback to an image that is presented. I have always expected to hear a critique, a controversial dialogue through my artistic production, looking for conversation, and discussion around my pieces, and I have found that many viewers want to see and express what they like from their perception point of view and usually, the art statement is superficially read. This has been the inspiration of my new pieces, artwork with no context and no meaning, I started working on meaningless subject matters.
